This paper explores the dual perspectives of the story's traditional and symbolic dimensions. From a traditional standpoint, the story is considered a historical account detailing the creation of Adam, his life in paradise, and his subsequent exile to Earth, as narrated in the Quran and Hadith. Conversely, the symbolic perspective interprets the story as a metaphor for human nature, ethical struggles, and spiritual lessons. This analysis aims to examine how these interpretations intersect and influence contemporary understanding, emphasizing the story's role in conveying moral and existential insights.
